The Libraries is piloting a new program offering card and board games for check out to UNLV students, faculty, and staff.

Checkout policy

  • Ask for games at the Lied Library Circulation Desk.
  • Games can be checked out for up to one week.

Exploding Kittens

A fast-paced and humorous card game where players draw cards with the hope of avoiding the explosive feline. With quirky illustrations and unpredictable actions, it combines strategy and luck for a lighthearted and entertaining experience.

2 to 5 players


A colorfully cutthroat card game of rainbows and revenge. There are only two rules: Steal or Score. You collect matching sets of cards by stealing from your opponents. You feel good about things, then not so good about things as opponents steal your cards back. Repeat this emotional rollercoaster until somebody wins the game.

A hilarious word-guessing game where players must communicate using only one-syllable words to describe complex terms and phrases without triggering the "caveman" buzzer.

A lively card game that challenges players to create absurd and hilarious stories while navigating shush-worthy challenges.

Throw Throw Burrito

An exhilarating combination of a card game and dodgeball where players collect matching cards while avoiding getting hit by soft, squishy burritos.

You Lying Sack

A bluffing and deduction party game where players take turns making outrageous statements and others must decide whether they are telling the truth or lying.

Knight Fall

A strategic board game immersing players in a mystical realm where one team, controlling knights, must protect elders and withstand demons until dawn.
